Expenditure Clerk

Medical Billing/Coding, Insurance Verification, or Medical Claim Processing REQUIRED

Primary function is data of claims for processing requiring strong data entry as well as working directly with patients, insurance providers, and pharmacy representatives to assist them in the insurance claim process to result in accurate and prompt payment of claims. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. This includes a pleasant professional voice and excellent grammar to explain the parameters of the program and ensure the reimbursement process with the patient, provider, or pharmacy. Work closely with the Finance department to ensure completion and submission of expenditures for daily processing and ensure compliance with set monthly goals.  Must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, often interacting with diverse education and experience levels.

REQUIREMENTS:

Medical Billing/Coding, Insurance Verification, and Medical Claim Processing REQUIRED

Must have a high school or equivalent education

Must have minimum of two years professional work experience

Must have accurate 45 wpm and 8,000 kph

Must have competent skill using MS Office Word-Excel-Outlook applications

Must have good credit due to nature of the position

Salary: $10.00 – $11 per hour

Location: Hampton, VA

Hours: 8:30—5:00 Monday – Thu, 8:30 –4:00 Friday

Call Counselor:

Primary function is to work with patients who are contacting the Foundation for financial assistance. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. This includes a pleasant professional voice and excellent grammar to explain the purpose of the program, procedures, and process for the application. Answer incoming calls to the program and assist callers with all questions, requests, and concerns. Data entry of intake information and provide the caller with professionalism and integrity each and every call.  Confidentiality of information and program guidelines learned through employment with the foundation must be strictly maintained.  Must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, often interacting with diverse education and experience levels.  Administrative skills/duties are detailed and will be explained further.

Must have a minimum high school or  equivalent education

Must be able to talk and type at the same time

Must have competent skill using MS Office Word-Excel-Outlook applications

Chesapeake shipyard in need of experienced admin for the contracts department. Multifaceted administrative duties. Extensive interaction with military ship personnel, vendors, company and other employees. Will update and distribute contracts and policies to other departments and perform additional admin duties as needed. Timekeeper

Government contractor needs an experienced timekeeper who has managed tracking hundred+  employees to numerous contracts ensuring benefits to the employees as provided by the contract they are employed under. Excellent data entry and EXCEL skills are required.  ACCURACY and ATTENTION to DETAIL is a must.

Additional duties will be to follow project manager aboard ship noting items to be repaired and emailing to appropriate department. Knowledge of and ability to navigate ship’s spaces point to Navy experience being very helpful.

Pay comparable  to experience

Work Location: Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock

Parking is first come and will probably require walking quite a distance to and from work.

Must have proof of citizenship (Birth Certificate or CURRENT Passport )

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECK

This position is long term indefinite with high probability of becoming permanent if performance is above average.
