Expenditure Specialist

Medical Billing/Coding, Insurance Verification, or Medical Claim Processing REQUIRED

Primary function is data of claims for processing requiring strong data entry as well as working directly with patients, insurance providers, and pharmacy representatives to assist them in the insurance claim process to result in accurate and prompt payment of claims. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. This includes a pleasant professional voice and excellent grammar to explain the parameters of the program and ensure the reimbursement process with the patient, provider, or pharmacy. Work closely with the Finance department to ensure completion and submission of expenditures for daily processing and ensure compliance with set monthly goals.  Must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, often interacting with diverse education and experience levels.

REQUIREMENTS:

Medical Billing/Coding, Insurance Verification, and Medical Claim Processing REQUIRED

Must have a high school or equivalent education

Must have minimum of two years professional work experience

Must have accurate 45 wpm and 8,000 kph

Must have competent skill using MS Office Word-Excel-Outlook applications

Must have good credit due to nature of the position

Salary: $10.00 as a temp

Location: Hampton, VA

Hours: 8:30—5:00 Monday – Thu, 8:30 –4:00 Friday

Must have experience comparable to the job description which includes: Obtain quotes for materials and contracts. Assist with estimating costs for proposals. Duties include, but not limited to: gathering and organizing supporting documentation for government invoicing; itemization and computation of accounting records for Operations, , processing invoices, analyzing un-billed reports & provide reasons for un-billed variances, prepare billing reconciliations, researching and resubmitting short paid and unpaid invoices, Overseeing preparation of billings for a variety of government and commercial contracts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be knowledgeable of Finance and AR policies and procedures, government contract terminology
  • handling multiple invoicing types such as CPFF, T&M, FFP, Hybrid
  • using government software such as WAWF, GFEBS, MyInvoice, GSA, ADP, and IPP.
  • Must have 4+ years government billing experience

  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced dynamic business environment.

Hours: 8-5 PM Monday thru Friday

Salary: $15.00 to $17.00 /hour

Experienced Admin

Administrative Assistant needed immediately for a Direct Mail Marketing Firm in Norfolk. This is a deadline driven environment. The right person must have the ability to multi-task. This is not a sit-at-your-desk type of job. There will be a lot of interruptions so focus and prioritizing is essential. Newport News Office: Part time legal admin assistant

Hours are 9 am – 5:30 pm Monday and Wednesday, Friday 9 am – 4 pm

Virginia Beach Office: Full-time legal admin assistant

Hours: 8:00 AM to possibly as late as 6:00 PM, lunch ½ to 1 hour

Requirements & Duties:

2 years minimum legal experience required
